Harley Davidson, the profit is almost double the expectations and the Stock Exchange celebrates

Harley Davidson travel at full throttle despite the Covid. The historic US motorcycle manufacturer, founded in Milwaukee in 1903, has announced higher than expected quarterly results. Adjusted EPS for the first quarter was $1,68 on revenues of $1,423 billion, while analysts had forecast EPS of $0,90 on revenues of $1,26 billion. Harley Davidson also raised its estimate of full-year motorcycle sales growth to +30-35% from +20-25% in previous guidance. With these numbers, a good rebound on the stock market is expected: in the pre-market on Wall Street, the title of the motorcycle "for metalheads" rises by 5% on the New York Stock Exchange, for a value of about 44,5 dollars per share.

Among the secrets of this performance there is also a business increasingly oriented towards green mobility: Harley is launching the new jewel, the Pan America crossover, a maxi enduro with 60 cc 1.250° V-twin engine, but above all it has every intention of becoming a leader in the electricity market, including in urban areas. According to what was recently said by Jochen Zeitz, CEO of Harley Davidson, the future of zero-emission mobility is in fact to be found in urban transport: here's why it is pertinent to venture a Harley Davidson vehicle dedicated precisely to this segment, perhaps a scooter, as the first rumors indicate.

There is therefore an ecological and above all financially successful future for a brand that over the decades has become a true icon of Made in the USA: the legendary bikes with high handlebars have appeared in numerous films, including The Wild, Easy Rider, Harley Davidson & Marlboro Man, Terminator 2 – Judgment Day, Ghost Rider, The Expendables and Captain America – The First Avenger and in the television series Renegade and Sons of Anarchy. A three-episode TV series titled was also made in 2016 Harley and the Davidsons
