From today the world is experiencing another war: the one between the Palestinians Hamas e Israel. Surprisingly and mocking the highly efficient Israeli secret services, Hamas - exactly 50 years after the war of Kippur – unleashed a full-scale attack on Israel, showering it with hundreds of thousands of rockets but also surprising it with ground attacks that made over 200 deaths and over 1.100 wounded. Stunned by an attack that also hit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Israel reacted harshly and the prime minister Netanyahu he didn't hesitate to say: “We are in war. We will win". Immediately afterwards, the Israeli counteroffensive began, leaving over 200 dead and 1.700 injured, including Palestinians, and razing skyscrapers in the Gaza Strip to the ground. “This is not a hit-and-run operation but we have started an all-out operation for our freedom,” said Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri. “The enemy will pay a price he has never known before” replied the Israeli prime minister.
All countries, even there Russia, condemned the attack by Hamas, supported only by Iran. The Security Council of the United States will meet urgently tomorrow.UN. From today, however, there is one more war in the world which has already caused deaths and injuries.
