Guzzetti: "The Foundations regularly pay the IMU"

"Only 2% of the banks' real estate assets, as properties intended for social activities, do not pay the tax", explains Giuseppe Guzzetti, president of ACRI.

Guzzetti: "The Foundations regularly pay the IMU"

Guzzetti doesn't fit. The president of Acri, the association that brings together 88 banking foundations, intervenes on the controversy that has been unleashed around the issue of the IMU. And he raises his voice: “Don't the banking foundations pay the IMU? They are bales! This is total disinformation. Banking foundations pay Imu on their properties, like all taxpayers in Italy".

Giuseppe Guzzetti said it on Radio 24, adding that “only 2% of the real estate assets of the banks, as properties intended for social activities, do not pay the Imu, like other users of social services. As it happens, they are properties intended for the elderly. The Imu – concluded Guzzetti – is paid by the Foundations and also by the old men”.
