“Gustaminori will be done. The Twenty-fourth edition will take place in Minori from 11 to 13 September because we do not want to interrupt a well-established tradition over time. At the moment we cannot anticipate all the details but we do not exclude that there may be some truly innovative surprises. “Drama De Antiqvis” will be the 2020 title ”with unpublished works, as we are in the presence of an event capable of enhancing the multiple artistic forms: music, theater, scenography, choreography, local cuisine. It is a further sign of the vitality of the Amalfi Coast which, however, has experienced a summer beyond all rosy expectations. We have not had cases of Coronavirus, there have been no gatherings thanks to the good behavior of everyone. And also for Gustaminori all the systems for health safety have been foreseen ”. This was announced by Andrea Reale, mayor of Minori, a jewel of the Amalfi Coast.
"The evening previews of" Gustaminori 2020 "were very successful, which in July and August saw the holding of important evening conferences with Gigi Marzullo, Bruno Vespa, Agnese Pini, Vladimir Luxuria, Pierluigi Pardo, therefore of important characters of the show, of TV, of journalism. This is the only event that brings together the history of the Amalfi Coast with its territorial products. Gustaminori is not a festival but it is the one-of-a-kind exhibition capable of simultaneously enhancing the artistic forms and professionalism of the territory. It is an event of international appeal and the foreign press itself has amply shown appreciation for what we have done in previous editions. We are in the presence of a true "miracle" - continued Reale - thanks to the Campania Region, Scabec, the Gustaminori Association as well as the Amalfi Coast Tourist District and the Proloco. We aim at the seasonal adjustment of the Amalfi Coast and hence the choice to confirm Gustaminori and look forward to its development in September and no longer at the end of August. The Amalfi Coast has already restarted and above all it is already thinking about a strategy that will work a lot also on the off-season period. Last year for the twenty-third edition of Gustaminori, we created “Accussia Natalea”. At the end of August we gave a preview of the Minorese Christmas and we did it with the involvement of the town: streets decorated for Christmas, Christmas menus in restaurants, obviously typical of our local tradition, simultaneous theatrical scenes in several points of the city able to recall the Neapolitan theatrical tradition with the deepening of important social themes, and again wonderful scenic effects, the parade of the characters of the Neapolitan crib with bagpipers in the head. People really enjoyed it. So Gustaminori is back in a big way, thanks to the work of the Artistic Director and author Gerardo Buonocore, of the Production Director Antonio Porpora. It is clear that the same events will be with reservations, quota, registration, with all anti-covid measures, as always along our wonderful Amalfi Coast ".
