When an agreement is reached for a group of 3.000 employees, the unions believe there is good hope that it will set a benchmark for the entire national sector.
The sector is that of leather goods, the company is the Gucci Group, owned by the group Kering, which in recent days has reached an agreement with the union for the renewal of the supplementary contract for over 3.000 workers of the Italian production plants in Florence, Milan, Novara where the jewels are worked Gucci leathers known all over the world.
Salary increased by 13%, already 30% above the minimum
The renewal, delayed due to the pandemic, provides for a del% increase 13 on the Gucci entry-level salary, which is already about 30% higher than the minimums set by the CCNL for the leather industry, for the same positions, says a national Filctem-Cgil press release.
“The good result obtained at Gucci is an indication of theexcellent state of health of the Italian fashion system. In the future, we hope good results also for the other important companies in the sector and we are confident that we will proceed with the renewal of the national contract with a thriving economy in the sector. In this sense, this supplement will be preparatory for the negotiation for the renewal of the national contract of the leather goods that will open next 13th April in Florence”: said Sonia Paoloni, national secretary of Filctem CGIL, and Massimo Bollini, national coordinator of Gucci for Filctem.
The contract also provides for an increase in the linked corporate welfare component to the integrative which goes from 300 to 500 euros, while negotiations are still underway for the renewal of the regulatory part. The performance of the collection of the bonus was also improved and consolidated, which pays a fixed amount that is the same for everyone, expanding the number of beneficiaries. Improvements have been made on the individual part which guarantee the achievement of the bonus as a percentage of the value of the GAS.
The agreement for Gucci's trade and logistics sector was signed last July
Today's contract, which concerns only the Gucci leather goods sector, adds to the one stipulated last July which concerned 900 workers of the Group belonging to the sectors business, relating to 30 points of sale, e logistics. In that case the contract, expiring at the end of 2024, had been signed with the trade unions Filcams Cgil, Fisascat cisl and Uiltucs, for Gucci employees in Tuscany, Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Campania and Sardinia.
