Guardiola and Mourinho open the tsunami of coaches that will also hit Italy

In Italy and in Europe the tourbillon of the coaches begins – In Italy, with the exception of Conte's Juve, the benches of all the big names could change: from Milan (Guardiola or Capello in place of Allegri) to Inter (Stramaccioni or Prandelli), to Naples, Lazio and Rome – Abroad Mancini, Di Matteo and Ancelotti at risk

Guardiola and Mourinho open the tsunami of coaches that will also hit Italy

Guardiola was only the first. Soon there will be many coaches who will leave the current team and it doesn't matter if by your own choice or someone else's. The waltz of the benches is a fixed appointment every summer, but this time the feeling is that it will be livelier than usual, in Italy and in Europe. From Allegri to Mazzarri, from Stramaccioni to Reja, passing through Luis Enrique and Delio Rossi, there are many coaches at risk of exemption in our Serie A. Things aren't any better in England, where our compatriots Mancini and Di Matteo aren't yet sure of confirmation. And, speaking of paisà, even Ancelotti is not doing very well in Paris. In short, more than a tour of the benches, the one arriving in a few weeks will be a real tsunami, which could upset Italian and non-Italian football.

Count aside (and in any case a contract renewal is dancing for him too), there isn't a big player in Serie A who isn't thinking about changing their coach. Starting fromInter, the final standings could prove to be decisive for Stramaccioni, but maybe not. In fact, Moratti admitted that many things will be evaluated in the final calculation, which puts the current Inter coach in a position of strength, but this does not guarantee him reconfirmation. The same goes for Massimiliano Allegri, who despite a contract until 2014, seems increasingly tied to results. Galliani pushes to reconfirm it, but Berlusconi turns up his nose. And the patron is known, he is always right.

The relationship between Lazio and Reja has been up and down since day one. At the moment the thermometer is low and failure to qualify for the Champions League could cost the Biancoceleste coach dearly. Assuming he then wants to stay that way, given that, in the current season, he has already resigned twice, a sign of a relationship with Lotito that is anything but solid. similar situation, albeit to a lesser extent, between De Laurentiis and Mazzarri, who was already one step away from exemption last year. The blue coach is in the middle of the Champions League fight, but perhaps the criticisms he received when things were going less well could also push him to change his surroundings. Then there is the Luis Enrique case, a true anomaly of Italian football. The results would lead to immediate dismissal, but the yellow and red club continues to defend and confirm it. But Louis seems to have gotten bored of the Rom centrifugea, also because the fans can't stand it anymore.

Italy remains the country that eats coaches par excellence, but also abroad they are learning well. Despite the excellent results, Di Matteo is not yet certain of his confirmation at Chelsea; Abramovich has a soft spot for Mourinho and still hopes to convince him to leave Madrid. Of course, if a Champions League final and an FA Cup final aren't enough for reconfirmation, then there's something to think about. Mancini's future, on the other hand, seems to be hand-in-hand with results: if Manchester City win the Premier League, they will remain 100%, vice versa, Sheikh Mansour could even get impatient. Situation similar to that of Ancelotti, in full title tussle in the French Ligue 1. PSG expected more from Carlò, but at the moment his position is quite solid. Of course, if Leonardo were to leave France, then Ancelotti would truly be alone.
