The Board of Directors of Credemholding (a company that controls 76,9% of the share capital of Credito Emiliano spa) chaired by Giorgio Ferrari, today approved the draft individual and consolidated financial statements for the 2012 financial year which will be submitted to the shareholders' meeting scheduled, in second call, on June 26, 2013.

At the end of 2012, the company recorded a consolidated net profit up by 26,3% y/y, equal to 91,7 million euro compared to 72,6 million euro in 2011. The individual net result of Credemholding instead amounted to 24,3 .24 million euros compared to 2011 million euros at the end of 1,25 (+XNUMX% y/y).

The board of directors resolved to propose to the shareholders' meeting the allocation of a dividend of 1,40 euro per share (+12% compared to 1,25 euro per share in 2011) which will be paid starting from 1 July 2013 ex-dividend date) for a total amount of dividends of 23.070.391 euro.

In the press release, Credem speaks of "more relaxed conditions" and "less volatility" as regards the interbank and financial markets. But, it is underlined, various "systemic unknowns" remain crucial for the economic and commercial evolution of the bank linked to the macroeconomic scenarios, the risk on government bonds, the trend of the financial markets and the cost of credit "which shows growing and worrying signs of acceleration".

At 16,45 pm, Credem shares rose by 0,73% in Piazza Affari, to 4,398 euros.
