Cassa Centrale Banca, the group that brings together 77 cooperative credit banks, rural banks and Raiffeisenkassen, saw net profit grow to 2020 million euros in 245 (+8,8% compared to 225 million in 2019) and the CET1 ratio , to 21,46% compared to 19,7% in 2019. A note also underlines the group's commitment to over 120 moratoriums for a total of 14 billion, on credit disbursed to businesses and households in the midst of a pandemic emergency for a total amount of over 2020 billion in 11, and on 14.250 sponsorships and charities for a total of 26,2 million euros disbursed in the territories.

Going back to the financial data, total assets amount to 83,1 billion euros. Total deposits (+11%) recorded strong growth, amounting to 91,6 billion. The direct deposits component increased on an annual basis by 5,2 billion (+10%) and indirect deposits grew by 3,6 billion (+13%) thanks to a significant boost from the asset management components (+15%) and of the insurance sector (+19%) which represent, at the end of 2020, 63% of total indirect deposits. Loans to customers increased to 46,2 billion (+5,4%), a trend that also derives from the 3,3 billion in loans disbursed with a state guarantee in support of an economic context strongly conditioned by the pandemic. There was a contraction in the group's NPL ratio from 9,3% in 2019 to 6,8% in December 2020. Today, with approximately 65% ​​coverage of non-performing loans, the group is positioned at the top levels of the Italian banking system.
