Beppe Grillo expects new elections within a year. It was the same political leader of the 5 Star Movement who declared it to the BBC, in an interview reported on the website of the English public broadcaster.
“Grillo – reads the website – told the BBC to expect new elections within a year”. Furthermore, the M5S leader reiterated that at this moment he would not support any government and stated that he believes that the two main coalitions, the centre-left one headed by Pier Luigi Bersani and the centre-right one headed by Silvio Berlusconi, will reach a deal.
At that point – concluded Grillo – the 5 Star Movement will be in opposition, it being understood that it will decide on a case-by-case basis which legal initiatives it will eventually support. The BBC titled the piece reporting on the interview as follows: "Grillo snubs the agreement with Bersani".
