By now they are among the best known supporters of responsible environmentalism, but also of the traditions and artistic values ​​of an area that goes from Rimini to San Marino and Montefeltro.

The entertainers of San Marino Green Festival insist with the active participation of citizens and with the market exhibitions that mobilize hundreds of people. Gathered under the leadership of Gabriele Geminiani this time they announced the first edition of the Montefeltro Green Festival well in advance.

Preparation will be meticulous for 24 and 25 September in Novafeltria and the festival dedicated to the upper Valmarecchia will open under the title of “Riding the Change”. The area is one of the most beautiful in Central Italy divided between several regions with fortresses and castles, full of history linked to painting and the inspiration of Renaissance artists.

The value of sustainability and the preservation of historic centers is fueled here by spontaneous and solidarity initiatives that give the figure of an authentic commitment. In Novafeltria for the Green Festival a showcase-market of sustainability will be set up. This is not an absolute novelty for Geminiani and his collaborators, who boast identical experiences in the editions of San Marino, but Novafeltria is also planning a original circuit dedicated to recovered electric toy cars. It is an attempt to bring together art, technology, landscape and the environment. The poet and screenwriter Tonino War he did something similar in the same beautiful area with "The places of the soul".

An original and visionary Festival

The September program includes two days of meetings on ecological transition and territorial identity, the result of 4 years of work, which has produced many social and cultural relationships.

"Riding the change - explain the organizers - underlies the willingness to debate strategic issues such as ecological transition and new professions". With this spirit, current topics will be tackled from the point of view of the workshop, that is something that leaves living traces on the table and in the hearts of those who participate”. And the two tables "Ecological transition and new professions" and "Visionaries of sustainability" will be attended by qualified guests.
