Greece-Troika, agreement on measures for new aid

After last week's ultimatum, Troika has reached an agreement with Athens on the measures that Greece will have to adopt in order not to call into question the bailout plan. The conclusions of the EU, IMF and ECB will end up today on the table of the Eurogroup which will have to decide on the release of a new tranche of aid to Athens worth 8 billion euros.

For international creditors, despite some delays in implementing reforms, Greece has shown "significant progress", so much so that the macroeconomic scenario "remains broadly consistent with the programme's estimates, with prospects for a gradual return to growth in 2014 ”.

At the center of thoughts of the European finance ministers, in addition to Athens, there is also Lisbon, which will be warned not to abandon the path of recovery following the government crisis that led to the resignation of the ministers of the Economy and of Foreign Affairs.
