Greece, Padoan: no disbursement for Italy

"Any financing from Greece by the ESM fund does not involve any disbursement by the individual member states". This was stated by the spokesman of the Economy Minister, Pier Carlo Padoan.

As for the total amount of the third loan to Athens, it could be 40-50 billion euros. This was indicated by a senior European official, specifying that the figure of 82-86 billion referred to in recent days refers to Greece's financial needs.

The difference between the amount of the loan and this requirement should be filled, the same source indicated, by the loan from the International Monetary Fund, by Greece's market funding and by proceeds from privatisations.
