I finance ministers who will meet tonight inEurogroup are called to find an agreement with Greece. According to various EU sources, this is the mandate that the heads of state of the Union have entrusted to their ministers in view of today's meeting, closing the agreement relating to the Greek debt.
An indiscretion that is confirmed by the words of the Italian Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan, who declared, on the sidelines of the international economic seminar in Tor Vergata dedicated to Europe: "Let's go there to find a solution"
Furthermore, during the lecture, the minister spoke of what, according to him, represents the greatest limitation of the European Union, namely the lack of integration and, above all, trust: “It's a political problem. It would take a very difficult ingredient to find: trust. The mechanism now in Europe is 'you show me that you respect the rules and then we can talk'. It is an extremely difficult mechanism because it can generate resistance and short-term emergency responses, rather than a long-term vision".
