She intervened in no uncertain terms Christine Lagarde, number one of the International Monetary Fund, in the Greek question: “I have a deadline of June 30th. If it is not paid on July 1, it is not paid”. The IMF reiterates that there will be no grace period for the Greece.

In June Athens would have had to face four different repayment deadlines 1,6 billion euros to the International Monetary Fund. Prime Minister Tsipras has asked for more time to deal with the repayment and the four tranches have been merged into one, set for 30 June.

The fateful date is approaching, but the agreement between Athens and the creditors is still far away.
