New yes from the Greek Parliament to the second package of reforms agreed by Prime Minister Tsipras with Europe. In the approved package there is the civil code reform and transposition of the European directive on the resolution of bank crises which also includes the involvement of bank account holders with more than 100 thousand euros in deposits
The new yes from Parliament has seen a reduction in Syriza's dissidence and surprisingly the former Finance Minister Varoufakis has also voted in favor of the reforms.
However, the pension reform is still postponed.
With the new vote of the Greek Parliament, new negotiations between Athens and the former Troika for the new financial aid plan for Greece should be able to start shortly.
