Strengthen access to credit for companies in the dairy chain. With this objective the agreement between Intesa Sanpaolo and Consortium for the protection of Grana Padano Dop which for over sixty years has brought together 129 producers with 142 dairies, 149 maturers and 200 pre-packers. The agreement looks carefully at the medium-long term loans term guaranteed by a "rotating pledge on wheels of Grana Padano Dop" aimed at maturing. The Consortium will verify the suitability of the forms that will be given by the pledged consortium companies, to guarantee the credit lines made available by the credit institution.

As part of the agreement, integrated services are made available such as the organization of seminars, workshops and work tables, also with the participation of companies of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, on topics including welfare, digitization, payment and collection systems, insurance coverage, subsidized finance, leasing, long-term rental.

The agreement is one of the initiatives that the bank has implemented in line with and in support of the investments linked to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

“The benefits of the revolving pledge are giving excellent results in the agri-food sector, evidenced by the more than 40 million euros disbursed in this area at national level in relation to the support granted to companies to continue investing even in a complex context such as the current one, thus allowing to think about revitalization and sustainability in line with the will to act in line with the objectives of the PNRR", said Massimiliano Cattozzi, head of the Intesa Sanpaolo Agribusiness Department.
