After Tuesday's plebiscite on Rousseau who gave the green light to the new M5S-PD government, Giuseppe Conte went up to the Quirinale today to dissolve the reserve and submit the new team of ministers to the President of the Republic: 10 are from the Five Stars, 9 from the Democratic Party, 1 from Leu and one is an independent technician. The oath is scheduled for 10 on Thursday morning, while the following day the executive will appear in Parliament. The trust will be voted on Monday in the House and Tuesday in the Senate.
The negotiations on the ministers went on all night and until the early afternoon the list was still shrouded in fog. The only certainty was that the Executive would not have a deputy prime minister: Dario Franceschini (Pd) gave up his seat a few days ago, forcing Luigi Di Maio - who had long insisted on keeping his job - to do the same. The two will play the role of "heads of delegation", i.e. they will represent their respective parties during government meetings (in the Democratic Party, both the secretary Nicola Zingaretti and the deputy Andrea Orlando have renounced this role). Di Maio and Franceschini are also in the list of ministers of the Conte 2 government. Here are all the names.
ECONOMY: ROBERTO GUALTIERI (PD)
Roman, 53 years old, Roberto Gualtieri is also a historian, political scientist and academic. He is associate professor of contemporary history at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome and deputy director of the Istituto Gramsci Foundation. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 and in July 2014 he was elected president of the Commission for economic and monetary affairs of the European Parliament. On the internal political front, in 2008 he joined the National Directorate of the Democratic Party, where he was reconfirmed in January 2014. "Gualtieri as minister would be good for Italy and for the EU", Christine Lagarde said today, from October he will replace Mario Draghi at the helm of the European Central Bank.
INTERNAL: LUCIANA LAMORGESE
After Salvini, a technical profile. Luciana Lamorgese, the third woman ever to hold this role, joins the Viminale. Lawyer, born in 1953, Lamorgese was prefect of Venice and Milan. Originally from Potenza, from 2013 to 2017 she was head of the cabinet of the Ministry of the Interior with Angelino Alfano.
FOREIGN: LUIGI DI MAIO (M5S)
At the beginning of the negotiations with the Democratic Party, the political leader of the 5 Star Movement had tried to reclaim the Interior Ministry, but his self-candidacy - like that of deputy prime minister - had been rejected. Later, his name was associated with the Ministry of Defence. In the end he landed at the Farnesina, which however will force him to take English lessons.
DEFENSE: LORENZO GUERINI (PD)
Lodigiano, 53 years old, Guerini began his political career in the ranks of the Christian Democrats. He was president of the Province of Lodi from 1995 to 2004 and mayor of Lodi from 2005 to 2012. In the Democratic Party he held the positions of spokesman, deputy secretary and coordinator.
JUSTICE: ALFONSO BONAFEDE (M5S)
One of the few points of true continuity with respect to the first Conte government, the Bonafede pentastellato remains Guardasigilli.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: STEFANO PATUANELLI (M5S)
Born in Trieste 45 years ago, Patuanelli is group leader for the 5 Star Movement in the Senate. Graduated in construction engineering, from 2011 to 2016 he was municipal councilor in Trieste.
WORK: NUNZIA CATALFO (M5S)
Catanese, 52 years old, Catalfo has a high school diploma as his qualification. Elected to the Senate for the first time in 2013, she helped write the Citizenship Income bill.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT: PAOLA DE MICHELI (PD)
Born in Piacenza in 1973, De Micheli is deputy secretary of the Democratic Party (a position shared with Andrea Orlando). She graduated in Political Science at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, in the past she worked as a manager in the agri-food sector. She entered Parliament for the first time in 2008 and over the years she has been Undersecretary of the Treasury (Renzi and Gentiloni governments), Undersecretary of the Prime Minister (Gentiloni government) and Extraordinary Government Commissioner for the reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquake in Central Italy of 2016 and 2017.
HEALTH: ROBERTO SPERANZA (LEU)
Di Potenza, born in 1979, between 2013 and 2015 was group leader of the Democratic Party in the Chamber. After the split from the Pd, he became secretary of Article 1. he He has a degree in political science from the Luiss University of Rome.
CULTURE: DARIO FRANCESCHINI (PD)
Already twice minister (of Relations with Parliament in the Letta government and of Cultural Heritage in the Renzi and Gentiloni executives), Franceschini is among the leading exponents of the Democratic Party the one who has worked with more continuity and insistence over time for opening up to the Movement 5 stars. This time he will also have the delegation to Tourism.
EDUCATION: LORENZO FIORAMONTI (M5S)
Born in Rome 42 years ago, in the transition from Conte 1 to Conte 2 Fioramonti was promoted from deputy minister to minister of education. He has a degree in History of modern political and economic thought at the University of Tor Vergata.
AGRICULTURE: TERESA BELLANOVA (PD)
Pugliese, 61 years old, Bellanova began his career at the age of just twenty as a trade unionist in the field of farm workers. You were elected to the Chamber for the first time in 2006. In the Renzi and Gentiloni governments you held the role of Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
SOUTH: GIUSEPPE PROVENZANO (PD)
Member of Nicola Zingaretti's secretariat in charge of employment policies, Provenzano was born in San Cataldo, Sicily, in 1982. Graduated and doctorate at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, he is deputy director of Svimez, the association for the development of industry in the noon.
RELATIONS WITH PARLIAMENT: FEDERICO D'INCÀ (M5S)
Born in Belluno, 43, D'Incà has a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Trento. He was an IT management systems analyst in a private company until 2013 and previously worked in a large retail multinational.
TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND DIGITALIZATION: PAOLA PISANO (M5S)
Former Councilor for Innovation of the Municipality of Turin, he is a professor of Innovation Management at the University of the Piedmontese capital. He is 42 years old.

Born in Cuneo in 1984, she graduated in Law and was elected to the Chamber for the first time in 2013.
REGIONAL AFFAIRS AND AUTONOMY: FRANCESCO BOCCIA (PD)
In Parliament since 2008, Boccia – from Puglia, 51 – has a degree in Political Science from the University of Bari and an MBA from Bocconi. From 2013 to 2018 he was chairman of the Budget Committee in the Chamber.
ENVIRONMENT: SERGIO COSTA (AT ALTITUDE M5S)
Neapolitan, 60 years old, is Brigadier General of the Carabinieri. Costa and Bonafede are the only two ministers confirmed with respect to the first Conte government.
SPORTS: VINCENZO SPADAFORA (M5S)
Born in the province of Naples in 1974, Spadafora was president of Unicef Italia from 2008 to 2011 and guarantor for childhood and adolescence from 2011 to 2016. In 2016 he joined the staff of Luigi Di Maio, of which he becomes responsible for institutional relations, and since 2018 he has been a deputy for the 5 Star Movement. He doesn't have a degree, but he graduated from a classical high school.

Associate professor of mathematical analysis at the University of Milan, she is 43 years old, lives in Mantua and is a member of the national Pd secretariat.
