Google relaunches on driverless cars and calls the former Hyundai CEO

Google continues unabated in the project for his Google Car and calls the leadership of the automotive division John Krafcik, manager with a past at Ford and Hyundai Motors America and current president of the TrueCar trading site.

Krafcik will be the new CEO of the car division he has in the Google Car, the car capable of traveling without any human driving thanks to a special technology of recognition of the surrounding environment, its pivotal project.

The web giant wanted to clarify that the project is still experimental and that "at this stage the self-driving car project will not become a company of the new holding A but that could become so in the future.

“It is a great opportunity to help Google unlock the enormous potential of self-driving cars,” Krafcik said. “This technology can save thousands of lives, offer better mobility to millions of people, and free us from many of the things we we find it frustrating to drive.”
