2016 will be the year of luxury. The experts at Goldman Sachs are convinced of this, predicting a real exploit for many titles in the sector after the 15% decline achieved over the last year.
GS analysts have estimated double-digit growth. According to them, the price of these shares is expected to rise by 20% over the next twelve months. Through a note, William Hutchings and Isabel Zhang Zhang, experts of the US investment bank, therefore recommend buying, but not in a generalized way. “We believe this is an opportunity to selectively buy in the sector,” explained the two analysts.
Excellent news that could also have positive repercussions in Italy. Goldman Sachs predicts “three companies with significant upside” thanks to their ability to grow turnover or profit. Of these, two are Italian: Moncler and Ferragamo. The third is Burberry.
The rating also improves on the shares of the Kering group, which includes brands such as Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, which switched to "neutral" from the previous "sell".
