GO internal, as requested by the Ministry of Economic Development, paid 2,7 million euros in contributions for the extension of the rights of use on the 3.4-3.6 GHz band in the Marche and Emilia Romagna regions. This is a necessary step to obtain the extension until 2029 of the rights to use the 5G frequencies.

The MiSe has decided to grant the extension of the rights for 40 MHz in such a valuable band for the development of 5G after a complex procedure that began after the presentation of a specific request in October 2017 and which also saw the carrying out of a specific consultation of market by the Communications Regulatory Authority.
"The extension of rights in the 3.4-3.6 GHz band allows GO internet to have the time horizon necessary to implement the business plan: we want to stand as a candidate among the promoters of the development and dissemination of 5G services, confirming the company's aptitude to invest for innovation and in favor of consumers” he commented Alessandro Frizzoni, CEO of GO internet.
