Global Thinking Foundation: Young612 is born

Global Thinking Foundation launches Young 612. Financial education, fully digital, aimed at children and adolescents, which has received the patronage of ASViS (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development). The project is divided into three new initiatives: Let's learn the sustainable economy with Lego, Grow Equal, 17 Steps towards Sustainability.

Let's learn the sustainable economy with Lego, in collaboration with Brick4kidz for the 5-8 age range. Three new videos will be made available exclusively, both in Italian and in English, to help children understand what the sustainable economy is, inviting them to carry out various actions, at home or in the classroom, related to the topic: thoughts, drawings , writings, photographs. The Global Goals will be explained in a fun way, through videos with Legos, in order to bring children closer to these concepts so as to help preserve the planet.

“Grow Equal”, the APP developed with the Children's Museum of Rome Explora and the support of FEduD, dedicated to the 6-10 age group. A digital experience inspired by the theme of rights, equality and the fight against the stereotypes of "EQUAL". It is a digital path that uses the game to make people reflect on rights and duties and gender equality, overcoming stereotypes, to raise awareness not only among children but also families, schools and the entire community.

Finally, “17 Steps to Sustainability” with redooc.com for young people aged 10 to 16. This project follows the 17 steps towards sustainability: the 17 Global Goals will be associated with online educational content, lessons with interactive questions and quizzes that will allow you to accumulate points. A new way to address important issues that will mark the future of the new generations.

"The new initiative derives from a reflection: economic poverty is directly correlated to financial poverty, two elements that feed each other - he said Claudia Segre, President of the Global Thinking Foundation -. After completing the projects and services that target adults with a digital platform for families, we are focusing on young people in the Alpha Generation segment.”

“Our commitment takes place in a context, the Italian one, where few resources are allocated to education – continued Segre – a variable which affects the development of a country as a whole. And it is precisely for this reason that we have decided to extend our services also to the range from early childhood to adolescence, a crucial phase for training and understanding the value of money of economic sustainability."
