During a conference in the Chamber on the presentation of the fact-finding survey on the employment emergency, Minister Enrico Giovannini announced the arrival of a package of 25 simplification measures to relaunch the labor market.
"We are essentially almost ready for a package of regulatory simplifications on the labor side - he said - in recent weeks we have met consultants and representatives of the world of work and have drawn up a list of almost 25 interventions, half of these can be done administratively , and we are doing them; half require regulatory action”
Giovannini recalled that "the battle to reduce unemployment and inactivity is long and complicated and is not played out only on a regulatory level". The objective is to strengthen the market and for this reason the minister has asked for a reflection on the organization of labor policies delegated above all to the Regions. “We should be able to strengthen – he said – the job market as a whole. The foreign companies that arrive feel they have 20 different job markets”.
A focus also on the measures put in place so far. "20 applications have been presented for the hiring of young people, which must be additional to the existing employment, so these are additional jobs, of which 17 are contracts from scratch and 3 transformations from fixed-term to permanent"
