Youth and work, the initiative of JP Morgan and the Et Labora Foundation

The We Build Job project, carried out by the Bergamo foundation with the support of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, has placed over 400 young people into the world of work, involving 690 companies.

Over four hundred young people entering the world of work through an orientation and retraining process, six hundred and ninety companies involved, of which 217 have welcomed at least one apprentice: these are the results of the project We Build Jobsmade by Bergamo Et Labora Foundation with the support of JPMorgan Chase Foundation and aimed at promoting dual apprenticeship as a priority and successful method of job placement for young people. The kids involved belong to the so-called "neet" generation, which identifies people not engaged in study, work or training.

Thanks to the success of the activity, JPMorgan Chase Foundation has decided to contribute also to the second project presented by the Et Labora Foundation and called the Nursery of crafts. The new project is an evolution of the previous one and will be focused on the relationship with schools and families, fundamental interlocutors for making dual apprenticeship known.
