There's time within 1 February 2024 to present the project.

The “Call for Projects and Papers” provides established project owners with theopportunity to highlight key elements of their initiatives, including the environmental and social impact, costs and returns, technologies used and timing. This allows them to inspire others and receive feedback on whether the project can be adapted and replicated in the market.

How the Call works

Participation in the “Call for Projects and Papers” represents aunique opportunity for projects awaiting the final investment decision (FID) to present itself to potential investors interested in “net zero” shares.

It is an opportunity to expose the strengths of the project, the proposed financial model, the investment requirements, the potential environmental and community impact, the end users, the validated technologies and the adaptability in the Hard-to-Abate sectors.

Participants have the opportunity to present documents and reports containing new ideas, case studies, market research and strategies to achieve the "net zero" goal. The selected projects will have 15 minutes to present themselves as part of the “X-Change” project during the “Global Energy Transition Congress and Exhibition”, with further exposure on the GET website and its social channels.

GET offers a space to present solutions, share best practices, expand the network and overcome obstacles to the energy transition. An independent selection committee made up of energy transition executives and experts will evaluate all projects and papers to ensure their quality and relevance.

“Il Call for Projects and Papers is a vital part of GET24. The call for papers offers strategic and technological insights on best practices to accelerate the transition, while the call for projects aims to show concrete actions already in place that can be replicated and inspire others. This is also theopportunity to present projects who have the potential to have a significant impact, but who have yet to obtain the necessary funding. AND time to turn commitments into actions and the energy sector, the Hard-to-Abate, finance and start-up sectors must come together to transform COP ambitions into the business of decarbonisation. GET offers the opportunity to achieve this goal,” he said Sarah Howell President of Get Global Energy Transition.
