In July the German trade balance posted a surplus of 22,2 billion euros, up sharply compared to the 16,6 billion recorded in June. Surprised the analysts, who had forecast a decline in the surplus to 15,9 billion.

In contrast i flows: according to data released by the Federal Statistical Office, in fact, in July exports of products from Germany grew by 4,7%, while imports decreased by 1,8%.
