The climate of confidence among German companies is on the rise: the Ifo index reaches 109 points, well above analysts' expectations – Meanwhile, Germany's GDP rises by 0,3% in the third quarter.

Il GDP of Germany it grew by 0,3% in the third quarter of this year, thanks in particular to the increase in private consumption (+0,6%) and public spending (+1,3%). This was announced by the German statistical office Destatis which thus confirms the preliminary estimates. Exports also grew, registering +0,2% and imports (+1,1%).

Meanwhile, there is also an increase in theIfo index which measures business confidence in Germany: in November the indicator reached 109 points, exceeding analysts' expectations. The expectations index also increased, rising to 104,7 points, slightly better than market estimates.
