Germany: record low unemployment falls to 6,6%

Positive news from Germany both on the front of unemployment than on that of the consumer confidence. In November the jobless rate came down to 6,6%: this is a historic result for the Locomotive of Europe, a percentage that has never been so low in the last 20 years.

The data on the "sentiments" of German consumers. The GFK index, an indicator based on a sample of 2 respondents, should rise to 8,7 points in December compared to 8,5 in November. A result higher than the expectations of analysts who had expected a figure of 8,6.

Data on theinflation, which in November - according to the statistical institute Destatis - is unchanged compared to the previous month. On a trend level, consumer prices are expected to rise by 0,6%, the lowest increase for five years. The numbers are in line with analysts' expectations. Consumer prices fell 0,3% month on month and rose 0,8% year on year in October.
