In March German inflation she grew up on 0,3% on month and 1% year on year, after +1,2% in February and +1,3% in January. This was communicated this morning by Destatis, the federal office of Germany, specifying that the variation on an annual basis is the lowest since August 2010.
The result - which is in line with the preliminary estimate and analysts' expectations - is linked in particular to the low prices of mineral oils (-4,2%) and the drop in energy prices (-1,6%). Groceries rose 2,2%, but still slowed compared to previous months.
The harmonized index showed an increase of 0,3% on a monthly basis and 0,9% on an annual basis.
