The index of the Center for European Economic Research which measures business confidence in Germany marks a slight increase in May compared to the previous month, at 36,4 points – Disappointed analysts, who expected growth to 40 points.
The Zew business confidence index in Germany rose again in May, at 36,4 points, against the 36,3 recorded in April.
The analysts were disappointed by the result, who expected a more decisive growth, up to 40 points. The decrease in the indicator relating to current conditions, which went from 9,2 points in April to 8,9, weighs heavily on the calculation.
