Sharp decline, in Germany, due to the confidence of institutional investors on the prospects for the country's economy. L'Zew index it dropped to 36,3 points in July, from 38,5 in June, a figure that negatively surprised analysts, who were instead expecting growth to 39,6 points.
The indicator relating to confidence in the current conditions in Germany, however, showed an improvement, passing from 8,6 points to 10,6 points, against a consensus of 9,0.
