Germany, trade balance: positive from 16,2 billion in June

Exports, on the other hand, suffered a decrease of 1,5%, to 92,3 billion euros, after +4,2% in May.

Germany, trade balance: positive from 16,2 billion in June

In June Germany's trade balance has registered a assets of 16,2 billion euros, against 15,3 billion in May (data revised from the previous 15 billion). This was announced by the German Federal Statistical Institute. Analysts had estimated a 14,8 billion drop. 

In detail, the exports they grew from 92,7 to 94,6 billion on a monthly basis. However, these are raw data and, according to the Institute, taking into account seasonal and calendar variations, exports would have suffered a decrease of 1,5%, to 92,3 billion euros, after the +4,2 % of the previous month. 

Le cheap imports instead they showed an even greater drop: -3%, to 76,1 billion. In May they had risen by 6,2%. The current account surplus rose to 16,5 billion in June from 8,1 billion in May, compared to a consensus of 12 billion.
