La Germany collects another disappointment on the industry front. In September the orders they grew by 0,8% month-on-month, significantly lower than analysts' expectations, which had predicted a 2,4% increase.
The figure is the result of a 3,7% increase in orders from abroad (+2,5% from the Eurozone and +4,4% from non-Euro countries) which offset the 2,8% drop in domestic orders .
In the third quarter, orders grew overall by 0,1% compared to the previous three months. The August figure has been revised upwards from -5,7 to -4,2%.
