Premium income totaled 34,8 billion (+1,7%), deriving for 23,1 billion from life business (+2,2%) and 11,7 billion from non-life (+0,8%). The improvements in the operating result are due to the impetuous growth of the non-life segment (+25% to 909 million), while the operating result of the life business fell by 7% to 1,48 billion. In the first six months of the year, the group reduced its financial debt by 500 million, bringing it to 12,7 billion, "in line with the objectives".
