The MIT Technology Review has included Generali among the 50 smartest companies in the world – Generali is the only insurance company in the ranking – Greco: “This prestigious recognition demonstrates the ability of an Italian company, with a strong international vocation, to innovate and create development in a competitive environment such as technology”.

Generali is among the smartest companies in the world, the only company in the insurance sector at a global level. The recognition comes from the MIT Technology Review, which included the Group among the top 50 smartest companies of 2015.

Generali, the first and only Italian company to ever be included in the MIT Technology Review ranking, preceded companies of the caliber of IBM, Microsoft and Uber, thanks to an "innovative range of insurance solutions based on data analytics capable of improving health and the well-being of customers".

The Group CEO, Mario Greco, commented as follows: “This prestigious recognition demonstrates the ability of an Italian company, with a strong international vocation, to innovate and create development in an extremely competitive environment such as technology.
