New territorial structure for Generali. The Trieste insurance giant aims at a new organization, based on seven geographical areas, through the establishment of two new regions: Emea and LatAm, entrusted respectively to the leadership of Giovanni Liverani and Jaime Anchustegui.
The change, defined in the company note as "in line with the simplification strategy of the group and governance", is "aimed at optimizing the geographical presence of the group and will allow for greater coordination between the markets and the head office".
The new structure will be made up of the business units of the three main markets (Italy, France and Germany), supported by four regional structures: CEE, Asia and the two newborn EMEA (Austria, Belgium, Dubai, Greece, Guernsey, Ireland, Holland, Portugal , Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia and Turkey) and LatAm (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Panama).
Generali stock moved little during the day, gaining 0,18% in the late morning.
