Generali launches a new function dedicated to Cyber Insurance and its own start-up against cyber risks. The new function will combine broad spectrum insurance offers in the IT field with the help of a technological start-up, GeneraliCyberSecurTech, wholly owned by the group and created to offer customers innovative methods of IT risk assessment.
The function will have the task of developing and coordinating the Group's approach to cyber risk insurance on a global level: from supporting customers in the prevention of cyber attacks and preparing the best response to them, up to the technical management and accident lawyer. In recent years, Generali has dedicated itself to building a team of experts with extensive international experience in countering cybersecurity risks.
