Generali Italia launches new policy for motorcycles and bicycles

Generali Italia launches a new “Imagina Strade Nuove” policy intended for motorcyclists, bikers, but also for those who drive scooters, hoverboards or walk. The new solution makes it possible to differentiate the risk based on the type of vehicle insured and how it is used, creating a personalized rate for the customer.

Among the main novelties offered by the new policy are the motorcycle assistance guarantee, which it offers different levels of assistance to the motor vehicle and to the person, providing services ranging from access to physiotherapy to sending a domestic worker or a babysitter up to repatriation by motorbike from any European country.

Also foreseen is thewinter stop option” to be activated in the colder months, from December to February, as an alternative to suspending the policy, keeping the guarantees not linked to the circulation of the vehicle active, such as Fire and Theft coverage and leaving the annual insurance coverage period unchanged.

The other two new features are "Private life on the move", which covers damage involuntarily caused to third parties when you are on the move driving all the most alternative means of transport (as a bike, even with pedal assistance, scooters, hoverboards, as well as when traveling on foot), and "Zero motorcycle expenses and Zero motorcycle expenses Plus", packages that provide various services such as for example the compensation for damage to technical clothing, to the helmet and motorcycle protections or damage to the top case and side bags following an accident.

Lastly, Generali Italia announces that the "Passione Moto" competition will start on Tuesday 30 June, which will allow participants to participate in the draw for Aprilia, Guzzi, Piaggio motorcycles and Dainese Smart Jackets with integrated airbags.
