Generali Country Italia is full of awards in the 2021 edition of Le Fonti Awards. Recognized Insurance Industry Excellence of the Year in Communications, HR, Innovation and Legal Advocacy. While Enel X wins the 2021 Best Case Award with the study on digital transformation

Communication, human resources, innovative projects and excellence in legal protection: these are the areas in which Generali Italy, Alliance Insurance e SAR got the awards at the 2021 edition de The Sources Awards.

These awards confirm the country's ability to promote strategies and policies to support the communication of innovative projects, not only for its customers but also for employees. What's more, these Awards demonstrate the acceleration in digital transformation and in investing in innovation, skills and human resources that is characterizing the Generali Country Italia companies.

In detail, Generali Italy, in the person of Lucia Sciacca (Communication and Social Responsibility Director of Generali Country Italia and Global Business Lines) receives the award Communication Director of the Year “to guide a multi-channel communication strategy with innovative projects also on digital and social networks, focusing on the values ​​of social responsibility. For the ability, in the year of the Group's 190th anniversary, to position Generali Italia on the market as an authentic "Partner for Life", intertwining the Company's business with its commitment to the community". 

Generali Italia was also awarded the prize HR Director of the Year in the HR category withdrawn by Gianluca Perin, Chief HR & Organization Officer of Generali Italia, thanks to his "ability to promote support and growth policies for his employees, from training to targeted career plans up to personalized benefits, within an increasingly innovative and inclusive organizational process. To confirm itself, for the third consecutive year, as the leader par excellence in the enhancement of human resources in Italy".

A double recognition also for Alleanza Assicurazioni: the Company receives the Award as best Digital Project of the Year with "'The NATIONAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM' which focuses on information aimed at the customer, for increasingly aware and sustainable choices in the insurance sector and for investments in training the distribution network". The second recognition, on the other hand, is for the HR Project of the Year, “demonstrating excellence in personnel management and growth. In particular, for the 'DOING AND BEING PEOPLE MANAGER' program, a remote path that allows you to develop team resources, interacting better with internal customers and peers through the levers of listening, understanding the point of view of other and stimulating change in thinking and behaviour”.

While DAS – the Generali Italia company specializing in legal protection – wins the award Excellence of the Year Insurance Legal Protection, for its “ability to provide timely and effective technical support with maximum customer satisfaction. To embody the values ​​of CSR with projects of environmental sustainability and diversity & inclusion also through social channels and to establish itself, for the 9th consecutive year, as an authentic leader in the sector". 

Finally, on 10 June the television special dedicated to the winners of the 2021 edition will be broadcast on Le Fonti TV, the main insurance companies in the insurance world who have been able to find suitable solutions to guarantee business continuity and support customers in managing thesanitary emergency and the economic crisis.

Entitled “Enel X – Driving Digital Transformation in the energy sector”, the case study was written by Professor Henry Chesbrough, Department Director at the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. The study analyzes the creation and growth of the Enel Group company and examines the company's ability to self-finance its transformation, as well as the opportunity to manage a large number of legacy
