Just over a year after its debut on Facebook, Generali Italia has managed to win the approval of over 100 fans who follow its page on the popular social network. Numbers that have allowed the company to win the primacy of the most followed Italian insurance company on the popular social network.

According to the press release released by the company, “the Facebook page is a dynamic information channel, with editorial content dedicated to insurance, culture, art, social campaigns and local initiatives carried out with the active participation of agents. The page is not dedicated to customer service but responds very quickly to comments and private messages".

The aim is to embark on a path of change that involves customers, employees and the agency network and to establish a more direct dialogue with the public through the new digital spaces.

More than half of the Agencies now have a Facebook page with a constantly growing fan base. Generali makes it known that “the Company has made available structured training courses, dedicated to those who are entering the world of social media for the first time up to more specific contents such as personal branding and reputation. Agents have assistance and support at their disposal in the management and supply of content, even if many have now begun to enrich their pages with personalized content".

Generali Italia is also present on other social networks: Youtube, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin. In addition, the new website www.generali.it was launched in February 2016, as well as the agency websites, which were also completely redesigned compared to the previous ones.
