Generali Italia and H-Farm together for the most innovative startups

The challenge calls developers and young entrepreneurs to exploit emerging technologies and explore new business models. The digitization process of the health and welfare sector now embraces solutions directly related to clinical activity and access to treatment. 70% of the world's health organizations intend to invest in apps to collect data on diseases remotely and start prevention activities

Generali Italia and H-Farm, a digital platform that supports the creation of new digital business models, have launched the "Generali Health&Welfare Accelerator" programme. The decision stems from the recent growth in global investment in digital health – the application of hardware and software digital technologies in the health and welfare sectors – which will increase by 22% by 2022. 

The objective of the challenge is to identify and collaborate with national and international innovative startups ready to develop solutions for the market. The sectors involved are those of prevention, accessibility to care, treatment and

Applications must be submitted by 31 October, and the best five startups will access a 4-month acceleration course on the H-FARM campus during which they will be able to develop their project.

Finally, the selected startups will have the opportunity to access hundreds of services offered by the tech partners, the value of which exceeds 450 thousand euros. At the end of the 4 months, the startups will present their projects on the occasion of the Demo Night in front of an audience
of business angels, investors, companies and venture capital, who may decide to invest or to create commercial or technological synergies with teams.
