The Generali group owns 5,122% of Carige. This was reported by Consob on the relevant shares. The equity investment in Carige is held directly through Generali Investments Sicav and “refers to the share capital of Banca Carige without taking into account the capital increase in progress”.
The transaction is dated June 10th. Carige's capital increase of 850 million euros started on 8 June and will end on 25 June.
Generali has 5,1% of Carige pre-increase
Consob announced that the Generali Group owns 5,1% of Carige before the start of the capital increase operations still in progress of the Genoese bank.
