Generali, Greco: "No acquisitions in sight"

Generali “is not planning acquisitions”. This was stated by the CEO of the insurance company, Mario Greco, during thetoday's meeting with analysts in London

“We are turning the group around – continued the manager -, we need to be disciplined and focused on the plan, and that's what we do. In any case, the business must grow to hit the targets”.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the Generali stock gained just under two percentage points. Analysts promote Greco and appreciate the target of a leverage ratio below 35%, together with the cost cut and the new strategy which will allow the company to give more generous dividends even before 2015. The review initiated by S&P does not affect the performance of the share for now.
