Generali finalizes the sale of Worldwide and Link

Insurance Generali completed the disposal of its shares in Generali Worldwide Insurance Company Limited and General Links. The two shares were sold to Life Company Consolidation Group.

Generali Worldwide Insurance Company Limited is based in Guernsey, an island located in the English Channel, and specializes in asset management based on the life branch and in the offer of employee benefits solutions.

General Links however, it is headquartered in Ireland and provides fund and policy administration services. Furthermore, Generali Link assists Generali Worldwide and Generali PanEurope dac, recently acquired by LCCG and renamed Utmost PanEurope dac.

Last July, Generali announced in a note that the two investments would be sold for a total price of 409 million euro.

The new communication specifies instead that Generali Worldwide will be renamed Utmost Worldwide and will continue its activity, operating as a partner of Generali's employee benefits network to assist current customers and those to be acquired in the future.

Generali will maintain the health portfolio of Generali Worldwide in the Caribbean, which will be managed by the Group's global health division.
