As expected, Philippe Donnet, 55 years old, on excellent terms with the French financier Vincent Bollorè and former country manager for Italy, is the new CEO and CEO of the Generali group. The new general manager of the Leone becomes Alberto Minali, 50 years old, former financial director of the group. 

The appointments were decided today by the Generali board of directors and close the succession to Mario Greco, the former CEO of the group who has moved to Zurich.

Now it will be interesting to understand how two other matches will close: that for the presidency of Generali, which could see the reconfirmation of Gabriele Galateri, and that of the new country manager and Generali Italia, for which the internal Andrea Mencattini and Davide Passero but also the CEO of Unipol Carlo Cimbri, appreciated by Mediobanca and Caltagirone shareholders.
