Generali is committed to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, launched in 2015 by the United Nations, which define a universal action program based on 17 specific sustainable development goals.

A commitment demonstrated by the initiatives and programs implemented in the Group companies and which have seen the involvement of numerous stakeholders. Generali's attention to internal stakeholders also materialized in the implementation of the first Generali Engagement Survey which involved thousands of employees.

The creation of sustainable value is part of Generali's strategy, committed to innovation through the selection of new ideas, collaboration with startups and the creation of partnerships. A commitment that also takes the form of combating climate change, as reaffirmed at the 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change in Paris.

A responsibility that concerns not only direct impacts but also indirect ones, linked to products and investment choices and the commitment to promote the 10 principles of the Global Compact relating to respect for human and labor rights, environmental protection and to the fight against corruption.
