Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, vice president of Generali, took advantage of the period of declines in Piazza Affari to buy a generous block of shares in his own insurance company. According to what was communicated by Borsa Italiana, between 10 and 11 August the Roman entrepreneur took home 600 shares, for a value of approximately 6,47 million euros.
In particular, on the 10th Caltagirone purchased 500 shares at 10.83 euros each, while the following day it further increased its stake in the group's shares by purchasing another 100 shares, this time at an even lower price of 10,58 euros.
