Generali has launched an innovative consultancy service for its corporate clients to support them in assessing business risk, now extending it to franchise activities as well. The service, recently promoted by Generali France and named General Performance Global, allows you to carry out an assessment of the company that goes beyond the traditional loss prevention services.

The novelty is that the consultancy also concerns elements such as financial results and intangible assets such as reputation and brand. The analysis is based on 60 criteria, half of which are related to Social Responsibility, and makes it possible to identify the company's strengths and weaknesses; after an initial assessment of the business risk, a score out of twentieths is assigned to the companies concerned, and only those who receive at least fifteen can obtain the Generali Performance Globale brand, benefiting from a very broad insurance offer, within which to choose the products more suitable.

The service also includes a support and development plan that takes into account the specific needs that emerge from the analysis of the business activity. Given the success of this initiative, Generali France, in partnership with SGS – a world leader in inspection, control, analysis and certification, has decided to extend the consultancy service to the specific needs of franchise, developing a performance-based analytics system to evaluate processes, governance and relationships between the parent company and affiliates.

Generali has designed this service with the dual objective of promoting business activity and aligning itself with the best practices of Social Responsibility. The first franchise to have entered into Generali Performance Globale is the historic French restaurant chain Courtepaille, which boasts 280 restaurants and a turnover of 313 million euros
