No deal in Board of Generali for the selection of the substitute of the Francesco Caltagirone has resigned. The minority list insists on the promotion of Luciano Cirina, the former top manager of the group in dispute with Generali after his surprising candidacy for share in Caltagirone, but the majority, also by virtue of an adverse opinion from the legal department, does not intend to give the green light. Will try the deal next time.
But in the meantime, the board of directors, at the instigation of the CEO Philippe Donnet, has launched a major reorganisation, of which the appointment of Marco Sesana as General manager is the spearhead.
