Is called Tasteful gems and they are a set of experiences, open-air initiatives among vineyards, olive groves, woods and meadows in bloom that offer a varied bouquet of scents, colors and flavors to tell the food and wine charms of Trentino through a return to nature. The project promoted by Trentino Wine and Flavors Road with the support of Trentino Marketing in the context of the provincial wine events called #trentinowinefest proposes aperitifs at sunset, insights and tastings in the vineyard, guided trekking, music tasting, food and wine walks, relaxing picnics among the vineyards: passing from Vallagarina to Piana Rotaliana, from Valle di Cembra to Lake Garda, from Valsugana to Valle dei Laghi, without forgetting Trento.
A total of twelve appointments for next weekend, between Valsugana, Val di Cembra, Valle dei Laghi, Vallagarina and Lake Garda.
The start on Friday 13 May at Cenci Trentino in Castelnuovo with a rosé aperitif at sunset which includes a visit to the cellar at sunset, around 18.30, followed by a tasting of the company wines paired with Crucolo products, a hot dish and live music . (info@visitvalsugana.it).
Saturday 14 May, at 11.00, the appointment is in Valle di Cembra, at the Maso Franch vineyard in Giovo, for La viticulture is a film where, accompanied by an agronomist, you will discover the interactions between soil, environment and vine, with inevitable final food and wine tasting of the wines of Cantina La Vis paired with AS.TA – Asparagicoltori Trentini Associati and Macelleria Paolazzi products, enjoying a panoramic view of the valley. Twelve appointments for a weekend full of nature
On the same day, at 14.30 pm, in the nearby Municipality of Segonzano, it is the turn of Paths of history and fine wines: trekking along the European Path E5, from the renowned Pyramids to the Castle of Segonzano up to a historic cellar, with wine tasting and Paolazzi butcher's products and Trento milk. Sunday 15 May, from 9.00 onwards, the Municipality of Nogaredo stages Among the scents of the earth, a 7,5 km free-step tour that from the Cherry Garden to Palazzo Lodron winds along the Sentiero delle Calende, touching all the fractions of the municipality for a total of 6 stages where you can taste mouth-watering food and wine proposals from the area, including the products of Distilleria Marzadro, Madonna delle Vittorie and Vivallis. Friday 13 May, at 10.00, at 14.30 and at 16.30, in Isera, it is the turn of Marzemino and its surroundings, a journey to discover the area with a visit to the Cantina di Isera, a walk with tasting of the wines in the vineyard and final in the wine shop with pairing gastronomic of Biodebiasi products, Sabbionara Cooperative Dairy and Modern Bakery. Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May, starting at 10.30, there is Spirito di Primavera instead: a spring day to discover Chardonnay, through a guided tour first at the Marzadro distillery in Nogaredo and then at the Madonna delle Vittorie cellar in Arco with a at the table, in the homonymous farmhouse, with a lunch that will enhance the evolution of this grape, from Trentodoc bubbles to still wine, up to an elegant and soft grappa, with Panificio Moderno products and Trota Oro as accompaniment (info@madonnadellevittorie. com).
Finally, Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May, from 11.00 to 11.30, Mas dei Chini awaits all winelovers for a Pic-nic live the vineyard, then repeated every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month: guests will receive a plaid and a basket with a selection of food delights, including products from Trento milk and Caseificio degli Altopiani and Vezzena, accompanied by a bottle from the cellar and they will then be able to choose the best point to taste these delicacies among the vineyards of the estate.
