Gdf-Suez, EU investigates tax favours

Gdf Suez in the sights of the European Commission. The French company, which since 2015 has changed its trade name to Engie, ended up at the center of an in-depth investigation into the tax treatment granted to it by Luxembourg.

Gdf Suez is not the first company involved in investigations into possible tax benefits granted by Luxembourg: Starbucks and Apple among others.
